2012 looks great for Capital City Speedway
2012 should be the year that Capital City Speedway shines, and will be the turning point in making Capital City Speedway the place to be once again. With the re-opening of the Drag Strip and the addition of the Drift Series, we will see the track running mutiple nights once again. We would like to thank all of you who played a part in making that happen. I look forward to seeing you all once again. If you are going to race this year you better get a start on it as there is only 150 days to opening night.
We have a glimpse of the new look and new Late Model of Derek Horsly. He will be a running out of the AD Motorsports club for 2012.
The positive feedback we have been receiving for the 2012 Season has been appreciated, and the support for CCS has started to come in.
Capital City Speedway is pleased to announce the following:
Drummond's Gas will be back as Class Sponsor for the Late Model Class.
Lentech Motorsports will be back as Class Sponsor for the Legends Class.

I would like to thank all of these companies for supporting us once again in 2012. Please feel free to give these companies a call for their services when required. If we are to continue racing, we need companies like these ones to step up and support us. For them to continue to do so, we need to support them and thank them by spending money at their locations when we need a service they provide. This applies to all of our great track advertisers. Just remember, if you use one our our advertisers, please let them know you did because of their association with Capital City Speedway.

Merry Christmas to all.
The Gow Family and all of the CCS staff would like to wish all of you and yours a very Merry Christmas.
Annual General Meeting Highlights
Thanks to all of you who made it out to our 2012 Annual General meeting. As always, when CCS has something planned Mother Nature plays a role. It was a little icy and thanks to those who were able to make it out to hear what 2012 has in store for Capital City Speedway.
2011 saw great gains in the entertainment value offered and a new attitude in the pit area. Thanks to all of the drivers, race fans and car owners for believing in the vision that we have for the future of Capital City Speedway. We are back this year as a result of the positive gains we made in the front and back and the positive reviews we have received from all of you. We are excited about moving forward with our plans for 2012.
As with any business there are highs and lows, and that can be said about the 2011 season. Early in the season weather played a roll again this year but got better as the season rolled along. Summer Slam was a great success and the weather had a big part to play in that as it was a great day for racing and Monster Trucks. Overall it was a great year and we expect things to get even better in 2012.
We have been talking with a number of different people who are interested in bringing out new Thunder Cars in 2012. It looks like we should have a much better Thunder Car field next year. The Legend class will have a number of new and old cars coming back and we expect to have a great field of cars each and every week. The Mini Stock class will see several new cars out next year and we expect to have 20 cars each week. At this point the Four for Fun class should see 3 new cars in 2012. The Late Model class has been quiet from a new car count perspective with only Derek Horsely bringing out a new car. We hope to see a few more come on board before Opening Night.
Rule Changes for 2012.
The most exciting change will be the new Line Up rules. In 2012, all cars will have to qualify for their positions in the feature. Drivers will pull their starting position for the first heat, the second heat will be reverse of the first heat. The feature line up will be a total of the points accrued from both heats with the highest point earner starting 1st, subject to inversion. We will then invert the field by the roll of 1 dice, and all classes will be inverted using the same number. ( 1 to 6 )
The Thunder Car class will have the option of running new bodies next year, and as of now we have several drivers who are looking into that now. Watch for a larger, better looking Thunder Class for 2012.
The H.P to weight ratio we implemented this year in the Mini Stock class was deemed a great success all around. The changes to Mini Stock this year are; We will see the weight ratio increased to 19 lbs per H.P from 18, a new ride height of 4 1/2 inches and maximum allowable H.P to be 140. All cars must be dynoed prior to opening night this year. We will have a dyno day and we will advise you when that will be.
As we grow the Four for Fun Class, we want to make this class competitive as the talent level is varied. With this in mind, we have introduced a new H.P to weight ratio for this class. The H.P to weight ratio will be 20 to 1. We have also allowed the skinning for the cars, the roll cage back to the shock towers and same size tires around the car.
Last year we brought in the idea of a mini fan appreciation night where by 1 car from every class will be up front to meet and greet our fans. This year we are making sure that this will happen each and every week and now is a requirement for all drivers to participate in. Up front on Opening Night will be all class champions for 2011. Please make sure that you have your autograph cards ready for your turn up front. After the first week, we will be taking reservations so please let us know which week works best for you. If we have openings in the schedule, we will let you know when it will be your turn. New this year , as part of your membership all drivers will be required to donate a minimum of 3 hours of volunteer work to the track. This can be to help paint, landscape, clean or even take part in a car show during the season.
The 2012 Rule Book will be posted in the next several weeks.
Drifting
Drifting at the track started mid season and continued until October. Drifting will be continued on a weekly basis next year and expanded to include several competitions during the summer. We are making some small paving additions to the track to make the Drifting even better in 2012. We were in discussions with DMCC to hold a National Event, but unfortunately we could not provide the required track for their event. Discussions with DMCC will continue after 2012 to see if we can accommodate their required track layout.
Drag Strip
Capital City Speedway will be open the Drag Strip for street car drags throughout the summer. We will have a basic set up to begin with to judge the response from all of you. The strip will be operated on a 1/8 mile track and will start with some old fashioned arm dropping to get us started. The more successful the Drag Strip becomes will determine the financial investment in it. So if you want to see us continue to run the Drag Strip, please show your support in 2012. We are looking at the schedule now and it will be run on Friday or Saturday Nights. We hope to have car shows as part of this weekly event. Stay Tuned for schedule updates as they become available.

2012 Annual Meeting this coming Wednesday December 21 2011
It has been confirmed that the Gow Family will be back at Capital City Speedway for 2012. We will hold our Annual Meeting Wednesday December 21 at the Travelodge Hotel on Carling Ave. This is the old Talisman Hotel. The meeting will start at 7:00 pm.
The meeting will be similar to last years meeting and we will go over all of the changes planned for the 2012 season. We will review the good, the bad and the ugly and our plans to correct the bad and the ugly, and our plans to make the good even better.
Most likely, 2011 would have been our first and last year managing Capital City Speedway if it were not for the positive reviews we have had from our race fans, our drivers and car owners. We will be making numerous changes again in 2012 to make Capital City Speedway even better for our Motorsports fans, owners and drivers. We will be expanding the operations at the track and will now be running multiple nights with various groups of racers. We will also let you know of some minor rule changes in some of the classes, line up changes, safety equipment and a few other things.
I know this time of year is quite busy with Christmas coming, but we wanted to get this in prior to January as some of our people are off to Florida. We hope you will take some time out of your busy schedules to drop in and see us, and see where Capital City Speedway is going in 2012.

2012 Annual General Meeting Coming Soon?
Monday December 12 should be the last meeting we will have with the Drummond's. We expect to have an agreement in place which will satisfy both parties for 2012. Once we have an agreement in principle, we will advise you of the 2012 Annual General Meeting. There will be some changes made to the way things were done last year as we continue to right the ship, and make Capital City Speedway the Motor Sports Facility it should be.
Our vision for 2012 will see additional nights added to the schedule for other motor sports activities to be held at CCS on a weekly basis. We need to add these events to increase the income, the awareness of the facility and to make CCS the place to be for all of the different motorsports racers and fans.
We are very happy with the direction the Stock Car program took last year and it was the positive feedback from all of you that has kept us going forward with this endeavour. When we took over the track we knew there were going to be many challenges to face, and we were going to have to make many changes to the direction the track was going. I want to thank all of you who helped us and bought into the program. Unfortunately, our work is not close to being done yet and there are many things we will need your help on in making 2012 the best that it can be. Our goal is to hear the cars that put the "Thunder in the Pines" for many years to come and I know with your help we can make this happen.
Please stay tuned and we will advise you of the meeting when it has been arranged. I hope to see all of you there.

New Thunder Cars coming in 2012
Capital City Speedway is pleased to announce that Karol Thibideau has purchased a Thunder Car and will be racing full time with CCS in 2012. Karol will be moving up from Mini Stock and will be competing for Rookie of the Year.
Capital City Speedway is pleased to announce that Keith Riddell has purchased a Thunder Car and will be racing with us in 2012. Keith has been racing go carts with the National Capital Karting Club for many years and has decided that Thunder is where he should be next year.
Both of these new teams are a great addition to the Thunder Class.
Karol, who joined us in the middle of the season last year in the mini stock class, showed us what being a racer is all about. Karol comes out to the track with the right attitiude and wants to have fun each and every week.
Keith, who has raced Rotax Karts for many years, comes to the track with a competitive spirit and who wants to enjoy the experience of racing at CCS.
We are very excited about all the new cars and promise of additional cars coming out in 2012. We will have new cars in every class next year and we will keep you updated as we receive any more great news. If things continue they way they are going now, 2012 should see the best car count in many years.
We have heard a number of rumours that several teams are looking at getting new 2011 bodies styles for the 2012 season. As soon as we have new pictures of those cars, we will share them with you.

New look for the 88 Late Model of Al Dickie
Winter hasn't even started yet and some teams are ready for 2012. Al Dickie wasted no time in getting his #88 Late Model ready for next year with it's new look for 2012. The new look is very sharp with the yellow and blue paint scheme and I am quite sure that Rick Rump will be very happy to be driving this nice looking Late Model in his run for the 2012 Championship.
Hopefully, this is just the beginning of a number of new looks we will have for the 2012 racing season. We will post the updated looks as we receive them. Stay Tuned.

"Up to Speed"
Even though the racing season has ended, our work behind the scenes still continues as we work towards the 2012 Season.
Thunder Car Class:
The response we have recieved in regards to the body rule change for the Thunder Cars has been very positive and we will see some new 2011 body styles on the track in 2012. We have already allowed some body styles not listed, so if you are looking at something different for your Thunder Car and are not sure if it will comply or not with the new rules, please give us a call and we will look at it for you. The end result of this modification to the rules should make our Thunder Class more diversified from a body standpoint and will improve the look of the entire class. Stay tuned for more news on who is doing what with their new body.
The last few years we have seen a smaller car count in the Thunder Class than what we would like to have seen, but I am encouraged with our discussions with a number of different people about bringing out more Thunders for 2012. We will have 1 driver who wants to move up from Mini Stock and has made a downpayment on a car. He will advise us when it is in his garage and we will let you know when that happens. I am almost certain that we will see Ken Sproule's car back on the track next year with a new owner and driver. I have taken the opportunity to make sure that that car was not going to leave our area and go to another track. Perhaps another Rookie canidate may unfold with the 33 car of Ken Fisher coming back in 2012 with a father and son team. I know of another father and son team who has almost completed their new Thunder Car team. As the details get worked out, we will introduce to you the new Rookie Thunder Car drivers. On top of that as well, I know of a few more people that may make it back this year with Thunder Cars.
So if you are a Thunder Car fan, you will not be disappointed with what is to come. Stay Tuned!!!!
Legends:
The Legends Class this year had some up and downs in car counts during the season, but we are happy to say that 2012 is looking very good from a car count perspective. We have had new purchases of vehicles and have confirmed that some older cars will be coming back. Rob Shannon who has been away for a couple of years will be back in 2012. Mike Madore has overcome some back issues he was battling in 2011 and will be back full time in 2012. Eric Madore has sold his car locally and we hope to see that car out next year. Nolan Gould has bought two cars from Frank Johnson and has been out testing. Nolan Gould - Rookie of the Year in 2012? One rumour that has not been confirmed at this point will see Matt Mould returning for a full season. Brent Egan is getting his engine rebuilt so he will be ready with a new power plant for 2012.
Mini Stock:
There will not be that many new drivers for 2012 as of yet, but what we will see is some new cars with some old drivers. Speculation says we will see some older drivers coming back out with some new cars. Rumour has Daryll Gow coming back with a new power plant in his car. Dave Watchorn is rumoured to be building something new for us, and of course it will be great to see Brooke Cordick moving up to Mini Stock this year. Casy Cavanagh will be out next year in his new ride, and Casy's old 49 has been sold locally and will be back at CCS in 2012.
Four for Fun:
If we can get out 25% of all of the people who I have talked to lately about becoming involved in this class, we should see another 5 cars in this class. We will anounce the new cars and new drivers when they become available. I expect to see 12 to 14 cars in this class each and every week and can say now we will have quite the Rookie of the Year battle in this class.
Late Models:
There has not been as much activity here as we would have liked but there are unconfirmed reports that we will have another 2 cars out for sure with hopefully more to come. We will keep you up to date as things come in.
The question on everyone's mind at this point is will the Gow Family be back in 2012. We have met with the Drummond Family this week and if all goes well we should be able to make an announcement in the next 2 weeks. The reason for the delay is I will be out of town next week on holidays celebrating my 15th Anniversary with my wife and Canteen Manager, Renata. The plans are made at this point for the direction of CCS in 2012 and starting from where we left off should make next year one of the better years in a longtime. Once everything has been agreed upon we will let you in on the details. But I will leave you with this.
"While I am away down south with my wife it always seems that the days just seem to DRIFT away. After spending a week in paradise, it is always a DRAG to come back to reality."
There will be no update next week, but stay tuned.

New Thunder Car bodies allowed for 2012
In an attempt to bring in a new look for some cars in 2012 , we will open up the allowable bodies in the Thunder Class. The new company on the block is ultimatecustomfiberglass.com which is now manufacturing Thunder Car bodies made out of a fiberglass. The fiberglass is made highly flexible to allow it to be banged and it will then resume its original shape, thus making it much easier to keep your car looking good all season. Ultimate Custom Fiberglass is now considered a spec supplier for their bodies for Capital City Speedway. They have a 2011 Chev Camaro Body, a 2011 Ford Mustang and a 2011 Dodge Challenger.
Other bodies may be purchased from Five Star Bodies which have a 88 Monte Carlo and AR Bodies which has an 88 Monte Carlo and a Chev Caprice Body.
You may choose a steel bodied car of your choice as well. The requirements are that the body must resemble a street production car. Late Model style bodies are not acceptable. If you are unsure, please check with us.
We will address any weight penalties at a later date, but all cars must still meet minimum weights as per the current rule structure.

Congratulations to all of our 2011 Winners and Award Recipients
Congratulations to all of our 2011 Season Champions and our other winners. A fun time was had by all at our 50th Season Banquet held at the Lone Star Ranch. I have to thank all of our racers who came dressed in western attire. A few took it to the limits and really looked great and made it fun.
The Rookie of the year award had a family affair to it this year with Braydon Oakely winning the Four for Fun Rookie of the year and Mike Oakely winning the Legends Rookie of the year award.
A new award this year, The Sportsman of the Year Award, went to Lori Mitchell.
The Driver of the Year Award was awarded to the ever popular driver, Casey Cavanagh, for his contributions to the track, his attitude, his sportsmanship, his driving abilities and the fact he comes to the track every week with a main goal. That is to have fun.
A new category of award was made this year. That being the Presidents Award. This award is awarded to people who cannot compete for the Driver of the Year Award. These are individuals who contribute to the track each and every year but are not drivers. There usually is one Award per season, but we had some catching up to do and felt it was important that three people receive the awrd this year.
The first President's Award was given to Scott Boeyen for his continuing support of the track. Scott is always there if we needed a hand, and he was always there on a weekly basis with his clean up truck and crew. Scott has been doing this for many years and was time he was recognized for his contributions to CCS.
The second President's Award was presented to Liz Dorning for her contributions to the track over the last number of years. We cannot tell you how many that has been, but rest assured it has been many. It was time that Liz was formally thanked for her ongoing contributions to CCS.
The third President's Award was presented to Al Dickie. Al has been a long time supporter of CCS and more so in 2011. From the begining of our time with CCS, Al Dickie has been one of the individuals who has spent more time at the track with me, spent more time doing car shows with me, and helped make the track presentable each and every week helping me with the ongoing property maintenance of the track.
Thank you to all of President's Award recipients for your help in making CCS the best that it can be.
I would like to thank all of our drivers, car owners, advertisers and fans for a great 2011 season. I can assure you that it will get even better each and every year.
I look forward to seeing all of you again at the races in 2012.

Thanks to Extreme Paintball
Thanks again to Scott Boeyen for having us out playing paintball. We all had a great time shooting each other and as a result we will plan another event earlier in the season next year. We hope to get a few more bodies out to play next year, so when we announce next year mark it down and come on out and shoot your fellow racers.

CCS Shootout this Saturday at Extreme Paintball
Scott Boeyen has been a long supporter of CCS and has run his Paintball Business from this site for many years. We have talked and said it was about time we supported Scott and what a wonderful opportunity to get together again while having some fun. Scott has offerred all of us a great package to come out and have some fun, and maybe get a chance to shoot someone who bumped you the wrong way this summer. There will be no black flags thrown this Saturday, and no DQ'S. No wrecked cars, no towtrucks and no long nights putting it all back together. There will only be survival or death by paintball. The early rumour is Tim Dorning will be coming out, so if you still hold a grudge because of that black flag you got, well here is your opportunity to get a little payback. Your only problem will be getting past the Gow Boys to get to Tim.
So if you think you have got the right stuff and want to show us your metal, come on out this Saturday and give it a try.
Scott has made the following offer for all CCS fans, drivers and staff. ( Just to let you know, Tim Dorning has already ordered extra paint as he had some frustrating moments this season and is ready to unleash some Race Director fury at any and all drivers who just happen to be on the other team. )
The price for paintball is going to be $35 per person and a 1/2 price discount on extra paint as well . Please let Scott know who is intrested so he can plan for it . It is scheduled for Saturday October 1st. The package will include 500 rounds of paint, all gear and lunch.
To reserve your spot please call Scott at 613-227-7059
See you then, unless I see you first and then your dead.

Capital City's 50th Anniversary Season comes to an end.
Capital City's 2011 Season is all but over. The only thing left is the clean up and a few drfting nights left. Summer Slam turned out to be a beautiful day thanks to Mother Nature. She owed us that one after so many nights where we had everything weather wise happenning at the track. Some nights we had rain, sun, thunderstorms looming about, rainbows and clear skies all at the same time. We had nights it was clear and sunny at the track and rain everywhere else. It was nice of her to let us finish off the season on a warm and sunny day.
The car turnout was good, except we had a few Thunder cars missing making that class a little light. The cars we did have though put on a great show in front of a packed house. Higher Education and Black Stallion put on a car crushing performance which was the highlite of the day. Mike Vaters from Vaters Motorsports said thanks to all of the fans that came out to see them, and he had also said he would love to come back as he had a smashing time.
By throwing in some more money, the Late Models agreed to make it twin 30's and the overall winner of the two races was Ken Baird. I would like to thank all of our local drivers and the four out of town drivers for coming out.
The Thunder class feature was won by Dave Stinson who continues his winning ways.
The Legends National Qualifiers were won by Steve Cantrell ( Pro Division ) who showed why he is one of the top Legends drivers in the country. Kevin Foisy won the Masters Division ( over 40 ) in a borrowed car and showed why he was so dominant during the regular season when he made it out to race. The Semi Pro class was won by new comer to the Legends class this year, Brian Saunders. Brian has certainly stepped up his game over the last few weeks and this young man ( only 15 ), will be a force to be reckoned with next year for sure.
The Mini Stock race was won by Kyle Baker. Kyle was ahead of Casey Cavanagh who finish second in season points. Casey brought out his new car for 2012 and showed that he again will be a competitor in 2012. We will be reviewing the rules once again for 2012 and hope to make some more fine tuning in this class to make it even more exciting for next year.
The four for fun class race was won by Quincy Roberts in the borrowed car of Jordan Biggs. Quincy was not able to repair his mini stock in time for Saturday's race. I am quite confident that Quincy will be back next year in the mini stock class with his car and trying once again to win that Championship.

Don't forget about our Thursday Night Drifting. Thats Tonight!!
If you haven't been out to our Thursday Night Drifting, you don't know what you are missing. Time is running out for our Drifting Nights for this year so come on down and enjoy one of the last remaining shows.
666 - The Super Stretch LImo has registerd for the Enduro.
Now that is a car, no sorry it is a Limo. This Limo will be part of the longest Enduro CCS has seen in years. Not in laps but overall car length when we add up the length of all the cars entered. This one helps the numbers when it is about 4 cars long. It should make some pretty tricky cornering, trying to get around this one in the corners, because it will take up the entire corner! This car is 30 feet long and is longer than my motorhome. Lets hope it handles better.
Regardless, it will be an entertianing show watching cars get around this one.
See you at the races.

Our Last Wednesday Night of 2011 was a Great One.
As the cars rolled into the pit area on Wednesday Night, there were still 3 classes where a champion needed to be named. After an entire season of racing it all came down to 1 good race for a select few drivers, and those drivers did not let us down.
Steve Munro showed why he has been in the top spot most of the year with another solid run to capture the Late Model Championship for 2011. Ricky Rump won the feature with a new car set up on the 88. Car owner Al Dickie drove the car down to Maine and had a new set up put in the car and Ricky Rump did not disappoint, as he drove the car up front and remained there to capture the last regular season win. This Saturday we may see a bit more from Steve as he no longer has to play it safe and will certainly give all of our Late Model drivers a run for the money.
The Thunder Car Championship was won by Dave Stinson over a close second by long time driver Greg Ogilvie. Greg had a tough night as his own car blew the motor in practice and had to borrow the 56 car of Julio and Jessica Pasinetti. Greg was close in the end but ended up having troubles in the 56 and had to leave the race. Thanks go out to the Pasinetti's for stepping up and lending the car to Greg. Mike Hennick won the feature race with a great run. We are not sure what the future holds for Mike and the 71 car, but we will keep you updated as we hear more.
The Legends Championship was won by Matt Haufe who has surprised us all with his new found speed this year. Matt pulled away from the field and won the feature as well. We shall see what Matt Haufe has left in the tank as this Saturday the Legends National Qualifier will be held at CCS. The winners of each level, Masters, Pro and Semi Pro will win a qualifying position for the Legends National Race in Las Vegas.
The Mini Stock Championship was won by Kyle Baker in his little Honda that could. His battle all season long and all night long with Casey Cavanagh was ended when Kyle finished second to Casey. It was a very close point battle with only a few points to separate them at the end of the night. Casey has been rumoured to have a new car in his sights, and may have it this Saturday.
The Four for Fun Championship was won once again by Brooke Cordick. Brooke Cordick will be moving up to mini stock next year and will leave the door open to have a new Four for Fun champion next year. Brian Sehl won the feature in AJ Dickie's new car. AJ Dickie will be back next year and has not been driving due to doctor's orders as a result of his crash weeks ago.

The number of drifters varies each week but last week we had the most we have had this year and the show was great. We expect about he same number of cars this week so if you are interested in seeing drifting up close, then make your way down to CCS this Thursday. Entry cost is only $ 5.00
Three Class Championships are still up for Grabs.Tonight is a must see.
Coming into the last points race of the season there are still three Championships up for grabs.
The Late Model class will see Steve Munro and Justin Holtom battle it out to see who will win for 2011. The Mini Stock's will see Kyle Baker and Casey Cavanagh duke it out to the bitter end for the bragging rights for 2011. The Thunder class comes down to Dave Stinson and Greg Ogilvie. Dave has a slight lead going in and will have to have one of his better races tonight to seal the deal. These three races tonight will be a must see. Make sure you are there to see it all happen.
The Four for Fun Class Champion for 2011 will be Brooke Cordick and the Legends Champion for 2011 will be Matt Haufe. Congratulations to both of you on a job well done.

Back to School Night this Wednesday
I can't believe it when my kids are getting ready to go back to school in a week from now. Where has the summer gone? We have tried to pack so much in in such a short period of time and I guess that is why it seems so fast. This Wednesday Night gives you one more chance to bring your family out to the races before our season ending show September 10th.
This Wednesday Night is our Back to School Night which means that all children under the age of 12 get in for free. Yes you heard it right Free. So bring out your children, maybe throw in the neighbours children as well, no matter how many you bring, if they are 12 and under they get in for FREE.

Monster Truck Rides added to the September 10th Show.
Soul Collector has been added to the Saturday September 10 show. Soul Collector is a Monster Truck but what is different about this truck is that it has 6 seats in it. Soul Collector will be taking kids for a ride through the bush at a cost of $ 10.00 per child. Rides will start at 2:00 and go on throughout the day and into the early evening. This is one of the very few times this opportunity will happen, so make sure you come on out and go for a ride.

Fan Appreciation Night a Big Hit
Fan Appreciation Night was another success with all of our great fans coming out to see all of our stock cars up close and personal.
The racing night was great but a little unlucky for some. The #9 Thunder car of Lori Mitchell put on a great show winning her first heat of the season and was on her way to her first ever feature win, but lost her brakes with only a few laps to go. Bob Williams had a great showing and has put his car on the right path to making some waves in the Thunder class down the road. The win was taken by Todd Musker who has shown all season long that the 13 Thunder Car owned by Todd Fletcher is a good one.
The Four for Fun class was won by the 82 car of AJ Dickie, driven this night by Brian Sehl. AJ is still a little sore after putting his old car in the wall last week. Congrats to that team for putting a new car together in a few days to make it back to the track. The new 82 sure is a pretty car and it will be great to se AJ back in it next week
The Mini Stock class still has a a champion uncrowned going into the final week of the regular season with Casey Cavanagh and Kyle Baker fighting it out for top spot. The feature was won this week by Cory Wilson who made it to the winners circle for the first time this year.
The Legend class saw Steve Cantrell power his way to another win with Kevin Foisy and Matt Haufe hot on his tail. The car count was up this week and expect it to remain high over the next two weeks.
Shawn Kennedy made it to the winners circle for the first time this year with a great performance. The battle for the championship will come down to this week between Steve Munro and Justin Holtom who are separated by only 6 points.
Don't miss the final week of regular season racing coming this Wednesday.
