Drift Practice Tonight

Drift practice is scheduled tonight starting at 7:00 pm. If you have never seen it before come on by and check it out. Cost is only $ 7.00

Wednesday Night saw some great racing and some rain.

Wednesday Night started out looking great but then Mother Nature stepped in after our third feature and put a stop to what was going to be a great race night. We saw a great Late Model feature with Sean Kennedy taking his first win of the season, along with Jason Moss who took his first feature in the Four for Fun Class.
The Mini stock, Legends and the Thunder did not get out for their features.

Sylvain Coulombe took the feature in the Kart Class for his first win of the season.

Our Drift friends came out and put on a spectacular demonstration on Drifting even getting Thunder Cat in on the action.

We hope to see all of you back next Wednesday for Young's Speed Shop Night.

Drag Racing Opening Night moved back one week

We were hoping to have things all ready for June 8 but due to a number of issues we will be moving our Opening Night back one week, June 15th. We hope things come together this week and next to be able to open June 15th.

We will keep the website updated so please check again on our progress.

Thank you for your patience, as I'm sure we all want to see this strip open and ready for use.

Wednesday was a Great Night to be at the Track.

With two races in the books for the 2012 season, has shown us some very exciting racing both weeks. The only repeat winner was the Four for Fun car of AJ Dickie. This makes things interesting from a points perspective and goes to show you that we also have some very competitive classes. This should make things exciting all year long.
The winners for the past week were:

Late Model - Steve Munro showed last years form by taking the feature win. Justin Holtom showed us hjis competitive car by leading most of the way until a questionable pass by Sean Kennedy. Justin didn't like the pass that much and spun Sean shortly thereafter. With both cars being sent to the back moved up the others. Chris Ferguson showed us some speed until a wrong move, shuffled him back. Steve Munro took his first checkered flag for 2012.

Thunder Car - Todd Musker and Greg Ogilvie made for excting racing as they battled it out side by side for most of the race until corner four of the last lap. Greg and Todd touched causing Todd to get loose as Greg went on to take the checkered flag. Expect to see some really good racing this year in this class as new drivers, Karol Thibideau and Mike Miller have shown they will be compeitive this year. The biggest mover this week was Karol as he has gotten his new car up to speed.

Legends Class - Kevin Foisy took his first feature race of the year and showed why he will be the guy to beat this year. The Legends class had a good week with no major incidents.Chris Zieran and Brian Saunders will be the ones to watch to see if they can end the dominance of Kevin. Chris Zieran now has a few wins at Evans Mills and one feature win at CCS.

Mini Stock - Chris MacDonald of Security Connection showed why he will be up front most of this season after a great run for him gave him his first win at CCS. Kyle Baker was catching up but ran out of laps. Watch for theseet wo guys to hammer it out all season, along with Casey Cavanagh.

Four For Fun - AJ Dickie will be the man to beat this year after taking home the checkered flag for the second week in a row.

Go Karts - The Dinardo Go Karts made an appearance, and although the numbers being down, showed some speed and  great racing . The Karts will be out again this week and hopefully the numbers will be up giving us an even better show.

Up this week is Sports Systems Canada Night, and with that will be hopefully see Matt Mould and his Legend come out.

Come on out see some more great racing.
