New Sportsman Modified Driver Coming to CCS

 

Capital City Speedway is pleased to introduce Cory Winters as one of our new Sportsman Modified Drivers for our 2014 season. Cory started racing in Cornwall in their mini stock division and then moved up to Dirt Sportsman in 2010. He has been in the top ten in that division ever since. Ten heat wins at Cornwall and Mohawk over the last two years, 6 top 5's including two 2nd place's and two 3rd's last year. Cory is excited about being a part of our 2014 season and is looking forward to running asphalt this year. We welcome Cory and his crew to Capital City Speedway and look forward to seeing him out there for each of our five Sportsman Series nights.

The car is a 2007 Troyer with a GM 602 crate engine. Cory is based out of Finch, Ontario, has two children, a 1 year old girl (Adrianna) and a 3 year old boy (Bryson) and wife Erin. Cory works as a correction officer.
