If you ever wanted to come out to Capital City Speedway, then this Wednesday will be the one not to miss. It will be one of the best shows this season, except for Summer Slam. This Wednesday we will have Rogers TV on hand taping the night's events, we will have the Vintage Modifieds back for their second race of the season,we will have Fan Appreciation Night, where we invite all of our race fans down onto the track to see all of our drivers and cars up close. If that was not enough, we will have some of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series drivers with us this Wednesday. DJ Kennington will be on hand with his hauler and car on display. His team will put on a pit stop demostration at intermission. Then we will get to see why DJ Kennington is in top spot in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series as DJ will get in and drive the # 2 Late Model of Ken Baird. Thanks to Ken Baird for giving up his ride this week.
JR Fitzpatrick who was with us last year, will be back again on Wednesday. Last year if you were at CCS for that race, JR got into a Mini Stock, after the engine blew in Mike Hennick's Thunder Car and battled his way to the finish line in top spot. This year JR will take over the drivers duties in the
# 88 Late Model of Al Dickie. There may be a few more surprises in the Late Model field as well, as we are waiting on some other confirmations. Rumour has it that we may see a couple more out of town Late Models.
This is going to be great night to see some of our local drivers take on some of the best drivers in Canada. Make sure you don't miss it.
