HOW DOES IT WORK

		Bring your own tools – come prepared! We offer wheelbarrows for our customers to use, so bring all the tools you need to get the job done. However for SAFETY reasons we do not allow torches, grinders, chop saws, jacks or any other tools that create sparks or flames. Your tool box is inspected by our staff for these items each time you enter our yard. We do allow and encourage you to bring portable air compressors, generators, cordless sawzalls, drills and any other tools that you will need.
		Once you arrive to our sales office our staff will inspect your tool box, ask that you to sign a waiver and stamp your hand before entry into the customer parts yard. At this point please ask our staff any questions that you may have. Kenny U Pull staff can provide you with yard layout, directions to where you can find the type of vehicle you are looking for is located, part prices, exchange warranty information, return policy guidelines, and parts interchange lists.
		In the customer parts yard we have wheelbarrows, engine lifting cranes and washrooms available. The yard is organized into four sections of vehicles: Imports (all European, Japanese, and any other non-domestically branded vehicles), General Motors, Ford and Dodge/Chrysler. The cu stomer parts yard is the only area available for customers to pull parts. Please do not enter any fenced area as these areas are off limits and are dangerous. All of our vehicles are supported by wheel stands to allow you access to components on the underside of the vehicle Therefore there is no reason to bring a jack with you.
		While Pulling Parts – Please clean up after yourself. This will allow us to keep our part prices low and our facility safe. Also please ensure that you work in a safe manner as we would like you to have an enjoyable experience at our yard. Please report any vandalism, unsafe circumstances or dangerous behavior from other customers to the yard Manager immediately. In addition please keep your tools close to the area that your are working in to avoid any losses.
		Once you have finished "Pulling Your Parts" proceed back to the sales office with all your parts and tools. In our sales office you will find a price board containing over 400 parts and their prices. The price is the same per part regardless of the vehicles age, make, model or condition. We do not negotiate on part sale prices. However we do offer the lowest prices on vehicle parts we can and we charge the same price for everyone.
		While purchasing your parts you will receive an itemized receipt and a free 30 or 90 day exchange warranty depending on the yard location. Our free exchange policy applies to parts that are returned to the yard with their original receipt and the corresponding markings on the part itself. At the point when the part is returned you will be offered a replacement part of the same type, and if it's not available you will receive a credit for the value of that part, which is usable at any time at any of the Kenny U Pull locations.

We are pleased to announce we have now added a full size 2011 John Deere 310 tool carrier backhoe and a Gehl Skid Steer with plow to our full line of snow removal and landscaping  equipment.

We offer a full range of equipment to plow, blow and remove your snow; a 2010 ¾ ton chev truck with 8’ blade, a 2001 ¾ ton ford truck with 8’ blade , a mid-size 2009 massey ferguson tractor with blade and snow blower and a small 2008 massey ferguson tractor/backhoe  with blade and blower for those tight areas. We have a truck mounted  8’ stainless steel salt/sand spreader when things get slippery.

New Cars coming to CCS in 2014 ?

To make Capital City Speedway successful in the years to come, we need to put on a great show each and every week. I truly believe that the quality of our weekly shows has gotten better each and every year. To make that happen, it has been a group effort from a number of people. Thanks go to our fan base, our advertisers, our staff and our drivers for coming out each and every week to put on these great shows and to watch them. Without every ones support, CCS could not continue to offer stock car racing in Ottawa.

Every year we loose some drivers for a number of reasons and every year we try and find new people interested in becoming stock car drivers at CCS. Like any puzzle, it comprises of a number of pieces combined together to make the overall picture, and drivers play a big part of our puzzle. We cannot continue to offer a show without our drivers. I do know at this point that we will see some new drivers and new cars in 2014. We have seen some drop in car counts in some classes and hopefully we can increase those counts in 2014.

We are expecting to see a  new bunch of 4 for fun cars this year. There has been some questions about the future of this class and as long as we see the car count start to climb, four for fun will be around for a few more years to say the least. This is a great class to start out in and we hope the trend continues from now until opening night.

We are expecting to see at least 2 new cars in the Legends class and if we can get all of our Legends drivers in the area out we could see a resurgence of cars this year.

We are expecting at this point to see 2 new cars in the Late Model  class which would make for some interesting races each and every week. It would be great to see over 10 cars in our premier class.

There are some possibilities to see growth in our Thunder Car class this year as well.

The early response from our Sportsman Modifieds is good and I am sure we will see more cars in this class than we did last year. Last year, we introduced them to CCS and we are expecting to see that class grow in numbers this year. Add on expected growth in our Vintage Modified class and these will be two great classes of cars to watch out for in 2014.

I wish we could see the same expected increase in cars in every class like we will see this year in our Enduro Class. Great things are in the works for them, so stay tuned for updates for the enduro class and the rest of our car classes.

New Sportsman Modified Driver Coming to CCS

 

Capital City Speedway is pleased to introduce Cory Winters as one of our new Sportsman Modified Drivers for our 2014 season. Cory started racing in Cornwall in their mini stock division and then moved up to Dirt Sportsman in 2010. He has been in the top ten in that division ever since. Ten heat wins at Cornwall and Mohawk over the last two years, 6 top 5's including two 2nd place's and two 3rd's last year. Cory is excited about being a part of our 2014 season and is looking forward to running asphalt this year. We welcome Cory and his crew to Capital City Speedway and look forward to seeing him out there for each of our five Sportsman Series nights.

The car is a 2007 Troyer with a GM 602 crate engine. Cory is based out of Finch, Ontario, has two children, a 1 year old girl (Adrianna) and a 3 year old boy (Bryson) and wife Erin. Cory works as a correction officer.

Pro Trucks back at CCS?

Will Capital City Speedway see a couple of Pro Trucks back this year in one of our regular classes?

Pro Trucks, Street Stock, Super Sports, Thunder Cars. You can call them all something different but what all of these different classes have in common is that they all use the same GM metric chassis. Capital City Speedway will be expanding the allowable bodies used in our Thunder Car Class to include the truck body. There are a couple of these trucks still around from years ago when they ran at CCS. We are trying to get them out and be a part of our 2014 season.

The same rules will apply for our Thunder Class, and the only difference will be the body style.
