Ottawa Firefighters Car Show Series - Don't Miss It.

Busters Bar and Grill, and Young's Speed Shop, two of our Advertisers this year, are supporting a car show series at Lincoln Heights every Thursday 4 pm to 9 pm. I would appreciate it, if there are any racers out there who would like to showcase your race car and help promote Capital City Speedway at the same time. It is through these type of events where we can really raise the awareness of CCS and help raise money for local charities. The news release is as follows:

Calling all classic car and motorcycle enthusiasts! The Ottawa Firefighters are holding a season long Charity Cruise Night at Lincoln Fields Shopping Centre 2525 Carling Ave, Ottawa Ontario.

Every Thursday from 4 pm to 9 pm, starting May 26^th  ( weather permitting) the Ottawa Firefighters invites local cruise night fans to rev up their engines and head to Lincoln Fields Shopping Centre for a chance to show their stuff.

To kick off the season, on Thursday May 26^th the Ottawa Firefighter will bring out their Fire trucks and rescue vehicle for everyone to enjoy. There will be local celebrities, draws and demonstrations.  There is something for every member of the family.

Dave Clarke Ottawa Firefighter Cruise Night Chairperson welcomes car and motorcycle enthusiasts, “We’re pleased to be able to offer local classic car / motorcycle fans a place to gather to socialize and raise money for a good cause.  100% of the proceeds from the Ottawa Fire Fighters Charity Cruise Night will go to local charities. The following charities will be benefiting from your generous support during these days - May 26^th to June 2^nd Ride for Dad; June 9,16,23,30 is Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation; July , 14, 21 and 28 is Shepherds of Good Hope; August and September charities are to be determined .
