Rule Changes in 2014.

After meetings with our new Tech Director, there will be some minor changes in Thunder and Mini Stock.

Thunder:

Body Rules: Truck Bodies will be allowed. Ride height will remain at 6", but the body may be 5" from ground.

Suspension: Upper control arms, lower control arms and rear trailing arms may be after market parts. They must be non adjustable. Upper rear trailing arms my be shortened for pinion angle. No modification of stock locating points.

Shocks: Steel shocks, non rebuildable and non adjustable. There will be no spec shock rule for 2014.

Brakes: OEM replacement calipers and rotors only. After market Howe calipers will be allowed. Dual masters will be allowed. No brake biasing valves will be allowed. All four brakes must work.

Gear Rule: There is no gear rule for 2014.

Weight: All cars must weigh 3200 lbs plus penalty weight for performance upgrades.

Standard transmissions: 75 lbs.
Rear disc brakes: 50 lbs

There has been no change to this rule.

Safety Rules: Helmets must be  SA rated. Fire retardant shoes will be mandatory in 2014.

Mini Stock:

Headers will be allowed in 2014. ( Subject to max H.P rule )

All other rules will apply as per the 2013 Rulebook.
