Last week I was down at the Bonnechere Cup and met with the owners of the Eastern Pro Tour. We have had discussions about bringing the ice racing tour to Capital City Speedway in 2013. Claude will be coming to Ottawa in the next week or so to have a look at our facility to see if we can do something to the concrete walls to make it safe for their drivers. If we can satisfy him it is possible we might see this Tour come to Ottawa. The only stumbling block after that is volunteers to help make an ice track, lots and lots of water, and Corporate Sponsors to help make this happen.We will keep you informed as this moves along.
